For colour changes we use only premium cast wrap film: Avery Dennison, 3M, KPMF, Hexis, Oracal. Cast film is thin, flexible and holds its shape, so it lays down over creases, bumpers and mirrors without stress and doesn't pull back from the edges. Calendared films are thicker, stiffer and cheaper — they work for advertising graphics on flat surfaces, but aren't suitable for a full body wrap.
We choose the colour on site, at the studio at ul. Powstańców 20 in Kraków. We hold samples directly against your car — indoors and in daylight — because the same film can look different on light and dark paint, and on different body shapes.
Colour is only half the decision. The surface texture changes a car's character more than the shade alone, and every finish holds up differently under daily use.
A silky semi-gloss between matte and gloss. The most versatile finish: it looks calm in the sun, gains depth after dark, and is noticeably easier to maintain than a full matte.
A reflection-free surface that sharpens the body lines. Needs dedicated chemistry and consistent hand washing — matte can't be polished and won't take wax.
The effect closest to factory paint, with full freedom in choosing the shade. The most forgiving finish for everyday use and the simplest to care for.
A metallic, brushed texture with a clear grain direction. A very strong visual effect, which is why we mostly use it on the roof, bonnet, mirrors and details rather than the whole body.
A film whose shade shifts depending on the angle of light — for example from purple to green, or from navy to copper. A top-shelf material that's demanding to apply, since the whole car has to be wrapped in one direction.
A structured film imitating a carbon-fibre weave. Works best as an accent: roof, spoiler, diffuser, mirrors or interior trim, paired with a matte or satin base colour.

Both give you a new colour, but they differ in everything that happens afterwards — from the pickup date to the car's resale value.
The film comes off entirely and the car goes back to its factory colour. Repainting is a permanent decision — there's no going back to the original coating.
The film sits on the paint and shields it from UV, insects and minor dirt for as long as it's on. Repainting requires sanding the factory coating.

That's why we don't quote a price over the phone "off the top of our head" — we confirm the exact amount after seeing the car on site, and that inspection is free. If the paint needs correction first, we say so before taking the job, not partway through.

A colour change isn't just work done at the studio. Two things are worth sorting out right after picking up the car: paperwork and how you wash it.
A vehicle's colour is a field on the registration document, so the owner is required to report a change at the registration office responsible for where the car is registered, so the record can be updated. Regulations set a specific deadline counted from the date of the change — confirm the current requirements and the full set of documents at your local office.
We provide a certificate of the service performed for the office, together with photo documentation and a VAT invoice. It's also worth informing your insurer about the change in the car's appearance, and the leasing company if the car is leased.
Just the roof, bonnet, mirrors or trim usually don't change the vehicle's colour within the meaning of the regulations, so they don't require an updated entry. If the scope is close to the whole body, treat it as a colour change.
The film is washed by hand, using the two-bucket method, a soft mitt and a pH-neutral shampoo. Remove bird droppings and insects as quickly as possible — they, not the rain, are what shortens the film's life.
Automatic car washes with brushes leave micro-scratches and can lift the film's edges. Also avoid aggressive solvents, degreasers and strong wheel cleaners on wrapped surfaces.
A ceramic coating can be applied over the film — the car washes more easily and gets less dirty. On matte and satin finishes we use products that don't raise the gloss. More on that in our ceramic coating service description.
A full colour change usually takes a few working days — the car stays with us for the time it takes to remove panels, apply the film and do the final inspection. We give you the exact date after seeing the car, since it depends on the body shape, the number of panels removed and the type of film. Wrapping a single element, like the roof or bonnet, takes much less time.
No. Premium cast wrap film has an adhesive designed for car paint, and with correct application and removal it doesn't damage the factory coating. While it's on, it also shields the paint from UV radiation, insects and minor dirt. The only risk is where the paint was previously poorly repaired or is lifting off the metal — we point out spots like that before starting the job.
