Dechroming, or chrome delete, means covering the chrome parts of a car with film. The usual candidates:

Many countries record the colour on the registration document. On UK plates, for example, a colour change has to be updated on the V5C with the DVLA. We have not checked the rules of other countries.

A leased car belongs to the leasing company. Under Article 709¹⁰ of the Polish Civil Code you may not alter it without the lessor’s consent, so ask for consent before the wrap, by letter or email.
Before you hand the car back, we remove the film. The factory chrome underneath is intact.

Yes. The film peels off, and the factory chrome underneath is not damaged. On leased cars, for example, it comes off before the car goes back.
It depends on the film and on how the car is used: how much sun it gets and how it is washed. Bird droppings and insects left on the film shorten its life the most. At the inspection we’ll tell you what to expect from the film you pick.
